Who can play

Any child aged from 3+ years old is welcome to join us at the Academy. We current have children in Pre-School, Reception, Year 1 , Year 2, Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5.

When does it take place?

Every Sunday at 9.30am, between September to June.

Where are we located?

The Academy and SSE Wildcat Centre  is run at the heart of Vulcan Village in the new Vulcan Estate.

To get to the Vulcan Sports Club, where the Academy is located, turn off from Wargrave Road in to the Newlands Grange estate, (the Aldi supermarket is a noticeable landmark).

Follow the road down for approx. 100 yards and take your first left on to Raleigh Close. Vulcan Sports club and the multi-purpose playing area is located 100 yards up on the right. There are plenty of spaces in our large car park.

How to get involved?

Come down to any of our sessions and make yourself known to the coaches wearing Vulcan Junior branded clothing. Register online using the links at the top of the page.

What does it cost and what do I need?

First Session: Free

Subsequent Sessions: £2.00

Hot Drinks: £0.50

You need to bring lots of enthusiasm, positivity and support for your children!! Children should dress in sportswear and have appropriate clothing for the weather conditions (e.g. tracksuit, waterproof jacket etc). Trainers or Astro-turf footwear is required on the multi-purpose pitch. In late Spring/Summer football boots may be more appropriate if the Academy moves to grass pitches.

Shin pads should be worn at all times.
